This kit is entirely bolt on, there is no welding,grinding,drilling.
You will recieve in this kit everything that
is required to install the kit,
which can be done in approx 2 to 2.5 hours. This kit is the same supercharger
as the
castlemaine rod shop use, except with larger pipes to allow the supercharger
to breath correctly, as these superchargers
need a 2.9 inch pipe to breath, and
offer maximum flow and effeciency. With this kit you will recieve everything you
will
need from the supercharger, right down to the wire, clips and the switch. You
will not have to buy anything else at all.
Not even a washer. The kit can be installed
using a very basic tool set, no specialist tools required. It can be turned
off via a switch that is located
in the interior. You will not have to do any engine modifications at all to run it, it
is
simply bolt up, start the car and drive. You will also recieve a blow off valve
for added effeciency and you can plum this
back in if you like less noise. The supercharger
inlet can be hooked up to the original air box or you can use your pod
filter, its your
choice. The supercharger will run fine with your air conditioning still attached, you dont
loose anything.
Your power increase will be in the region of 30-50% more power. I cannot put
a definite number on this as every car is
different, every motor is different. As soon as i get
mine dynoed (250,000k old motor with nothing but 2.5inch exhaust)
i will post it up as with some
small video clips for you to enjoy.
The price of this kit is $1290 which includes everything
you need. ( no air cleaner included as most have some form of improvement in this area)
